Activities
Since its inception in 1955 the society is actively engaged for the advancement of standards in all related fields and for the solution of problems confronted by the industry. For dissemination of knowledge the society arranges conventions. Seminars and workshops. All the proceedings of the conventions, workshops and seminars are published. During crushing season monthly synopsis of technical results are also published. All these publications are circulated among chief executives of the sugar mills and allied industries, PSST members, and concerned government departments. More over these are also available at permanent secretariat of the society.
